Meet Fred Matta, Chief Audiologist at Our Surrey Clinic
Fred Matta is the primary audiologist at our Surrey hearing clinic and serves as Director of Audiology and Chief Audiologist at Sonaris Ear Centre. He earned his Master of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne and has more than 24 years of experience providing diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing care for adults and children.
His clinical expertise includes comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid technology, balance disorders, and tinnitus management. Fred is also certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and has helped countless patients better understand and manage tinnitus through evidence based care, education, and current research.
In addition to his clinical work, Fred served on the Board of Directors of the former College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia from 2022 through 2024, contributing to the regulation and advancement of audiology in the province.
